For this reason, prison regulations place particular importance on preserving these relationships whenever possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After marriage, intimate visits, commonly known in Spain as vis a vis visits, may continue to form part of the rights recognised for inmates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These visits take place in specially designated areas within the prison and are intended to help preserve personal and family relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As Miriam Cord\u00f3n explains, the primary limitation does not affect the right to marry itself, but rather the security and operational requirements of the correctional facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Organisational measures may vary depending on the institution, but the right remains recognised and protected under Spanish law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
